The Knights of Columbus (K of C) is a global Catholic fraternal service order founded by Blessed Michael J. McGivney on March 29, 1882. Membership is composed of practicing Catholic men. Founded on the principles of charity, unity and fraternity, the Knights of Columbus focused on the work of bringing financial aid and assistance to the sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Continuing that tradition, they also seek to build up and form Catholic men to be men of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.
