African Clergy and Religious Day

On December 26th, 2024, that is the Feast of St. Stephen, our African priests and nuns working in the dioceses of St. Petersburg and Orlando came together for a special Mass, meeting and fellowship at our parish. Our beloved pastor Fr. Dan presided over the bilingual (English and Spanish) Mass at 12:15pm. He con celebrated with 12 priests, and included 8 nuns in attendance as well as the Resurrection Church family.
Special thanks to our own Fr. George for doing such a wonderful job organizing this event. Let us pray and support our African brothers and sisters.
It was so awesome to see these holy people praying for each one of us. Thank you Clarisse for cooking for them. We thank Fr. Dan for welcoming the African Clergy and Religious to our parish from The Congo, Uganda, Zambia, Cameroon, Nigerian, Ghana, Tanzania, Togo, Kenya etc.

Ayer, 26 de diciembre, que es la Fiesta de San Esteban, nuestros sacerdotes y monjas africanos que trabajan en las diócesis de St. Petersburg y Orlando se reunieron para una Misa especial, reunión y confratenirzación en nuestra parroquia. Nuestro querido párroco P. Daniel presidió la misa bilingüe (inglés y español) a las 12:15 p.m. P. Daniel co-celebró con 12 sacerdotes e incluyó a 8 monjas presentes, así como a la familia de Resurrection.
Fue maravilloso ver a estas personas santas orando por cada uno de nosotros. Agradecemos al P. Dan por dar la bienvenida a nuestra parroquia al clero y religiosos africanos del Congo, Uganda, Zambia, Camerún, Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Togo, Kenia, etc.
Un agradecimiento especial a nuestro P. George por hacer un trabajo tan maravilloso organizando este evento. Oremos y apoyemos a nuestros hermanos y hermanas africanos.
