Altar Servers

 

Altar Server training
For children who have received First Communion and are in grades 3 or higher. If you hear Jesus calling you to serve Him as an Altar Server, plan to come to Altar Server training at the Church on Saturday, May 22, 2- 4pm. We are in special need of new Altar Servers for the Saturday and Sunday 8am Masses. If you have questions, please contact the office or Ed Mitchell emitchel@tampabay.rr.com

 


 ORACIÓN DEL MONAGUILLO PARA ANTES DE LA MISA
Señor, te doy gracias porque me llamas nuevamente a tu servicio
En esta celebración que estamos a punto de empezar.
Ayúdame a estar muy atento
para reconocerte en seguida en la persona del sacerdote,
a escuchar con provecho tu Palabra,
a alimentarme dignamente con tu Cuerpo y tu Sangre,
y a reconocerte presente en medio de la asamblea de los hermanos.

Altar Server's Prayer

Loving Father, Creator of the universe, you call your people to worship, to be with you and each other at Mass. Help me, for you have called me also. Keep me prayerful and alert. Help me to help others in prayer. Thank you for the trust you’ve placed in me. Keep me true to that trust. I make my prayer in Jesus' name, who is with us in the Holy Spirit. Amen.
